Strong cheap winch. Load holding brake doesnt work worth a shit... Model LP8500 superwinch user. But you cant beat the cost!

The winch is great. It was comparatively simple to put in. The negative was the condition of the box & winch when I received it. The box looked like superwinch winches had been thrown off the empire state building. It is remnants were barely held together with packing tape. The winch had a giant dent in the cast body from the apparent impact off the the New York icon. The paint was chipped off in the vicinity of the dent. Other that paying 400.00 for a cosmetically damaged (new winch) superwinch winches is great. I think amazon needs to inquire in to the professionals & cons of offering free shipping on giant, pricey, breakable items. It was likely shipped on a pack animal through the Khumba Icefall.
